Question 1

How do I order Rock Hard Cement in Jamaica?

Accepted Answer

Anyone can order cement through Rock Hard Cement Jamaica in three ways: request an instant quote online, call our Kingston office on (876) 518-9190, or open a business account for repeat ordering, commercial pricing and credit terms. Payment methods include cash, bank transfer, and approved credit accounts.

Question 2

How long does cement delivery take across Jamaica?

Accepted Answer

Standard island-wide delivery is 24–72 hours from confirmed order for all customers. Same-day delivery is available in Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Catherine for orders placed before 10:00 AM. Project supply is scheduled to your programme with pre-agreed phase call-offs.

Question 3

Do you deliver cement to my parish?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Rock Hard Cement delivers to all 14 parishes of Jamaica through our Kingston warehouse, regional stockists and authorised distribution partners. This includes Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine, Clarendon, Manchester, St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, Hanover, St. James, Trelawny, St. Ann, St. Mary, Portland and St. Thomas.

Question 4

What formats is Rock Hard Cement available in?

Accepted Answer

Rock Hard Portland cement is available in two formats: the 42.5 kg bag for homeowners, hardware stores and contractors, and the 2-tonne bulk bag for ready-mix operations, block manufacturers and large developments.

Question 5

Can I get wholesale or commercial pricing?

Accepted Answer

There is one published price for everyone: J$1,350 a 42.5kg bag and J$62,700 a 2-Tonne Bulk Bag, both before GCT. No tiers, no volume discounts, nothing to negotiate. A business account adds credit terms and purchase-order ordering once approved, but never a different price.

Question 6

Do you offer credit accounts?

Accepted Answer

Credit terms are available to approved companies after business account onboarding and credit review. Approved customers can order against a PO, receive monthly statements and reconcile through the customer portal. Contact sales@rockhardcementja.com to start the credit-account application.

Question 7

How is Rock Hard Cement quality guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

Every batch of Rock Hard cement is independently tested for compressive strength, initial and final setting time, fineness (Blaine), soundness, sulphate and chloride content. Certificates of analysis are available on request for any shipment, and all bags are traceable to their production batch.

Question 8

Can I track my Rock Hard delivery in real time?

Accepted Answer

Yes — use the Track Order page with your Rock Hard order reference (format RH-YY-NNNNN). You'll see live status updates from scheduled → loading → dispatched → in transit → arriving → delivered, plus GPS-verified digital proof of delivery with signature and photos.

Question 9

What is the cement type — is it Portland cement?

Accepted Answer

Rock Hard Cement is Portland cement CEM I 42.5 N, manufactured to EN 197-1 standards. It reaches a minimum compressive strength of 42.5 N/mm² at 28 days, making it suitable for structural concrete, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, mortar, plastering and screeding.

Question 10

What mix ratio should I use with Rock Hard Cement?

Accepted Answer

Standard mix ratios: 1:4 cement-to-sand for blockwork mortar, 1:2:4 (cement:sand:coarse aggregate) for general C20/25 concrete, 1:1.5:3 for structural C25/30 concrete, 1:4 for plastering mortar, and 1:3 for floor screed. Final mix design should be verified by a qualified engineer for your specific project.

Question 11

How should I store cement bags on site?

Accepted Answer

Store cement bags on dry timber pallets off the floor, under cover away from moisture and direct rain. Use oldest stock first — cement performs best within three months of manufacture. Do not stack bags more than eight high to prevent compaction, and keep bags away from waterways.

Question 12

How many bags of cement do I need for my project?

Accepted Answer

Use the Rock Hard Cement Calculator to estimate bag requirements for slabs, foundations, columns, beams, block laying and plastering. As a rule of thumb, a 100 mm-thick slab needs about 7 bags of 42.5 kg cement per 10 m². For accurate quantities, share your drawings with us and we'll size the order.

Question 13

Do you serve homeowners as well as contractors?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Rock Hard Cement Jamaica supplies homeowners, self-builders, contractors, developers, hardware stores, distributors and logistics partners. Homeowners can order single bags, contractors can run PO-based project supply, and hardware stores can schedule replenishment through their branch account.

Question 14
